SHADOW OF TIME

• SHADOW OF TIME
• In front of Stadsmus on Guido Gezellestraat is the artwork Shadow of Time. It is a sundial that does not rely on a traditional shadow, but instead uses a narrow slit between two metal plates. Through this opening, a spot of light falls on the inlaid hour markers in the pavement, allowing passersby to literally see time in motion.
• The work was created in 2000 for the exhibition Shadow of Time – Sundials in Limburg and has since become a permanent highlight of the street.
