De HopHemel is a Limburg-based craft brewery that has been making waves since late 2020 by releasing a brand-new beer every month. What started as a small, fast-evolving home brewery that embraced experimentation has now grown into a contract brewery with an annual production of around 80 hectoliters — and its own Taproom in Hasselt.
Whether De Kleine Hal is Hasselt’s oldest café isn’t entirely clear — but it’s certainly very old. Here, you can enjoy 50 delicious bottled beers, including a wide selection of alcohol-free options, and 6 excellent beers on tap. There’s also a menu with jenevers, wine, cocktails, and small snacks.
